Ghost Stock was a weekend retreat for paranormal investigators from all over the country. It was hosted by the Rolling Hills Paranormal Research Society, based at Rolling Hills. Teams were scheduled throughout the weekend to ghost hunt in Rolling Hills, the surrounding outbuildings on the premises, and the Genesee County Park adjacent to the property, done with special permission obtained by the park director. The park is host to most of the graves from the County Home days.
Special workshops and guest speakers included Kirk McWhorter (RHPRS Manager) speaking on “Cause and Effect: EVP and it’s Correlation with the Principles of Acoustical Physics and the Theories of Quantum Physics”, Mason Winfield (paranormal author) speaking on “The Spooky 13: Western New York’s Top Haunted Sites”, and Linda Zimmerman (paranormal author) speaking on “A Career as a Ghost Investigator”.
